Are the bars safe for color-treated hair?
Absolutely. Each Solid Fusions bar is color-safe and cleanses without stripping your hair.
I usually use Head & Shoulders, will Solid Fusions work for me?
Yes! While Head & Shoulders is a medicated shampoo designed to control dandruff, Solid Fusions is formulated to support long-term scalp health with clean, gentle, and nourishing ingredients. Our bars are sulfate-free and enriched with jojoba oil, cocoa butter, and plant-based extracts that help balance oil, reduce buildup, and soothe the scalp naturally.
If you're transitioning from a medicated product, you can alternate between your current shampoo and Solid Fusions. This allows your scalp time to adjust while still getting the benefits of a more natural routine.
Many of our customers find that, over time, they rely less on medicated shampoos as their scalp becomes more balanced. If you have persistent or clinical dandruff, we recommend speaking with a dermatologist to find the best routine for your needs.
Can I travel with shampoo and conditioner bars?
Absolutely. Shampoo and conditioner bars are perfect for travel. Because they’re solid and waterless, they’re TSA-friendly, leak-proof, and don’t count toward liquid limits in carry-on luggage. Just pop one into a travel tin, keep it in the original carton, or store it in a reusable pouch, no spills, no extra weight, no plastic bottles.

Usage & Care
How to Switch to Shampoo Bars?
Switching to shampoo bars is simple, but your hair may go through a short adjustment period, especially if you’ve been using liquid shampoos with silicones, sulfates, or heavy conditioners. Here’s how to make the transition smooth:
1. Wet your hair thoroughly.
Shampoo bars work best on fully saturated hair.
2. Activate the lather directly on your scalp.

3. Focus on the scalp, not the ends.
Just like liquid shampoo, the cleansing needs to happen at the roots. The suds that rinse through will gently clean the lengths.
4. Rinse well.
Make sure no residue is left behind, this is especially important during the first few washes.
5. Follow with a conditioner bar.
Conditioner bars help detangle, smooth, and balance moisture, especially for dry, thick, or color-treated hair.
6. Give your hair time to adjust (usually 2–5 washes).
If your old shampoo contained silicones, your hair may feel different at first, that’s just buildup lifting. Once it’s gone, most people notice softer, lighter, and cleaner-feeling hair.
Pro tip: Store your bars somewhere dry between uses. A well-drained dish helps them last longer.
How long does one bar last?
With proper storage, each bar lasts about 60–80 washes, roughly the same as 2–3 bottles of liquid product.
What hair types are your bars suitable for?
Our formulas are designed to work on all hair types, from fine and straight to thick and curly. Simply choose between our three lines.
Is there a conditioner for the men’s (Grove) line?
Not yet. We recommend pairing the Grove shampoo bar with our fragrance-free Sensitive conditioner bar for lightweight, universal hydration.
